Dr Andrew Inglis is a consultant ophthalmologist who qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1993. Since 2005 he has been a substantive consultant in NHS Ayrshire and Arran, where he has been Glaucoma Lead since his appointment, and between 2008 and 2014 he served as the region’s clinical director for ophthalmology.
He has wide experience in the medical, laser and surgical care of glaucoma and introduced minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (iStent) at Ayr in 2018. He also has extensive experience in small incision cataract surgery.
