Dr. Arunan Sivalingam is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon who co-directs the Retina Service and directs the retina fellowship on the Retina Service at Wills Eye Hospital, the oldest hospital retina service in the United States, and practises with Wills Eye Physicians – Mid Atlantic Retina.
The Wills retina physicians are the principal faculty of the Wills Eye Retina Service, take part in clinical research on new treatments for macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, and train retina fellows from around the world. He leads training for one of the country’s oldest retina fellowships, which has trained more than 180 retina specialists since 1960.
